ELDER Academic Advisory Board Will Support Doctorate and R&D Studies
"ELDER Academic Advisory Board" was established to review the current issues in electricity markets; draw up evaluation reports; carry out prediction studies; and to enable ELDER to support the doctorate and masters theses to be written for the abovementioned purposes. Being an independent body, ELDER Academic Advisory Board will guide the sector with the activities it will conduct.
ELDER Academic Advisory Board is aimed at providing contribution to the development of the electricity sector. Electricity distribution sector has a consumer-oriented market structure. The activities of the Academic Advisory Board will improve the quality of the service provided to consumers and thus increase the customer satisfaction. Academic Advisory Board will draw up evaluation reports on electricity markets and carry out prediction studies, and it is aimed at representing ELDER in working groups of such platforms as EDSO and EUROELECTRIC.
The Board is aimed at supporting Masters and Doctorate studies. It is aimed at not only providing data but also facilitating field application. In addition to this, joint R&D studies which the Board will carry out with the distribution companies are expected to accelerate the sector.
